Please note that throughout our Terms and Conditions, the terms “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to Made Known. The term “you” refers to you, the user of our website/buyer of our products.
By visiting our site and/or making a purchase with us, you are agreeing to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully before using our site or placing an order with us. If you do not agree to our Terms and Conditions please refrain from placing an order with Made Known and please exit our website.
Modifications and Interruptions
We reserve the right to review, update and change any part of our Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to change, modify or remove contents of this website at any time or for any reason without notice. This may result in our website being unavailable for periods of time.
Corrections
There may be information on Made Known’s website that contains errors (typographical/inaccuracies) for example in the pricing, availability or description of products. We reserve the right to correct this information at any time, without prior notice.
Prices of all products can be changed without any notice.
General Terms
We reserve the right to refuse service at any time for any reason. This is at our discretion.
Products are for personal use only and are not to be reproduced or resold.
Shipping and Delivery
How We Do It
At present we only ship to the UK.
For in stock items, we aim to ship within 2-4 working days.
For personalised and handmade products, please allow 1-2 weeks for dispatch. Please note that if you place a large order or personalised items/handcrafted items the turnaround time may be longer than 1-2 weeks. This will be confirmed when you order.
Orders will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class (£2.00) or Royal Mail 1st Class (£2.50). Orders over £24.99 will be upgraded to Signed For.
For Royal Mail 2nd Class, your order is expected to arrive within 2-3 working days* after dispatch.
For Royal Mail 1st Class, your order is expected to arrive 1-2 working days* after dispatch.
We aim to deliver all goods within 30 days, unless agreed in advance by us and the customer.
*Please note that Royal Mail delivery times are not guaranteed and are estimates. This is out of our control.
Cancellations & Returns
The Fine Print
Cancellations
If you decide that you need to cancel your order please email madeknownuk@gmail.com as soon as possible following order confirmation. If your order has already been dispatched then we will be in touch with the next steps. For personalised orders, this will be at our discretion and we reserve the right to charge for the work done to date.
Returns/Refunds
If you decide that you no longer want your item(s)**, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to get in touch with us and request your return. When you get in touch with us, please state your order number and the items that you are requesting to return.
**Please note that unless they arrive damaged or defective, we are unable to accept returns of custom/personalised orders.
If you have received a damaged/defective item, please contact us at madeknownuk@gmail.com immediately with details of the product and the defect. Please also attach at least 2 photos as evidence of the defect. If the outer packaging is also damaged, please include a picture of this where possible. We will fully examine the photographs and notify you via email of the next steps.
Once your return has been confirmed by us we will send you our returns address and you then have another 14 days to return the item(s) to us. We agree to refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, providing the conditions of return have been met.
If a refund is requested and approved, we will complete this via Wix payments.
We retain the right to refuse a return/refund in the following circumstances:

You knew the item was faulty when purchased.

You have damaged the item when trying to repair it yourself.

Personalised items (unless faulty).
Once we have received your item back, we will be in touch to let you know and to confirm your refund or replacement.
Conditions of return: You will be responsible for return postage costs and insurance, unless the product is faulty. Please return your item in its original condition. If the returned item is no longer in its original condition, the buyer will be responsible for any loss in value and this will be reflected in the refund given. We only have to accept returns from the person who bought the item.

Lost or Late Items
If you have waited longer than the specified time to receive your order, please contact us at hello@made-known.co.uk with your order details. After an investigation, it will be to our discretion should a refund or replacement be required.

Late or Missing Refunds
We agree to refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, providing the conditions of return have been met.
Once we have confirmed your refund, please allow 5 working days for this to be back in your account if via Bank Transfer. If you paid via PayPal, please allow 30 days for this to show up in your account, subject to PayPal’s terms and conditions.
If your refund has still not arrived in this time period, please first check your bank account again. Then, if you have still not received your refund, please contact your bank. Following this, please do get in touch with us at madeknownuk@gmail.com and we will do our best to help you.

Personalised Products
We have the right to use any personalised items for marketing purposes or to influence future products. Please note that personal details will be covered. If you would prefer that your item is not published on our website/social media, or if you need us to wait until it’s been given as a gift then please do let us know.

From time to time, we may run a competition to win a product/product(s) from our collection.
Please note that our giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook.
The competition will run on the specified dates and times in the post. All time zones are GMT.
All competitions are for entrants ages 18+. All participants should reside in the UK.
The competition prize cannot be replaced with cash.
If you do enter our competition, we will never ask you for your bank details. This is a known scam. It is your responsibility to take caution here.
